Anims and other online entertainment companies have made it easy to stream animated and live content on mobile devices, and now the company is trying to make the same thing possible on television.
Anims announced Tuesday that it will begin live streaming live and on-demand content to its customers on television starting in September.
Animosd will offer its customers the ability to record their favorite shows and share them with friends.
“Our goal is to bring people together to enjoy our shows with their friends, and share our show with the world,” the company said in a statement.
The move comes as the streaming industry grapples with the emergence of streaming services such as Hulu and Netflix, and the loss of traditional TV.
AnimaSd is the first streaming service to offer live content.
Animasd will also be offering its customers a new experience for sharing content with friends: It will offer a feature called “streams to friends,” where users can upload content they want to watch with their own friends to a dedicated server that will then display it on the Animsd website.
This way, friends can view the content and then share it on their own screens, or watch it on other people’s screens, as long as it’s not in another app.
AnimiSd will work with Facebook, Apple and Google to make it easy for people to share content with their family and friends.
Animainsd is already one of the leading live-streaming services for TV and video content.
The service has made a splash on Facebook with over 1.6 million videos and nearly 50,000 videos and photos.
Facebook has also announced plans to add Animasds feature, Animas d, to its new video platform for TV.
Disney has been testing its own live-and-on-demand service, Anims.
AnimSd, however, is aimed at smaller businesses, particularly smaller movie theaters and other small venues.
Disney is also testing a service that will allow customers to stream video from their mobile devices to the Anima d site.
Animatsd will launch on the Disney App Store in the U.S. and on Apple TV in the next few months.
