The animated TV series Anims is set to be revived.
The show’s creator, Masayuki Hashimoto, confirmed to GamesBeat that the show will be revived with a new story and new cast members.
“I think the animators who were involved in Anims’ first season are all back for this revival,” Hashimoto said.
“That’s how we feel about it.”
Hashimoto previously told Polygon that Anims will return to the medium in 2018, with a brand new season that will air sometime in 2019.
It will be a new series, and there won’t be any new cast.
“The Anims team was so busy making a new season of Anims that the animator roster was cut in half.
I can’t really say why that happened, but I can say that the cast and story was completely changed for this new season,” Hashihara said.
Hashimoto added that the new season will have an entirely new story that will be completely different from the original series.
“We’ll do a completely different story,” he said.
